Cheese is one of the most traditional products of the province of Castellón. It has ideal areas for grazing, where we find herds of sheep and goats of Indigenous breeds that produce milk with exceptional characteristics.
Our artisans make cheeses with their own names, such as Tronchón, Cassoleta, and Servilleta, among others. Other varieties, such as exquisite cottage cheese and curds, are worth mentioning. All of them enjoy great prestige and have won national and international awards. You can easily buy the local cheeses in the province’s markets and gastronomic shops or directly from the cheese dairies.
