The ‘III Fira Castelló Ruta de Sabor’ organized by the Diputación de Castellón will be held from 19 to 21 May in the Plaza in the Plaza de las Aulas in the capital, a sample of gastronomic products of the province that will bring together eleven producers and three Michelin-starred chefs. It will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
From 10.00 a.m. next Friday you can enjoy live product presentations, tastings and food demonstrations. In addition, the public will have the opportunity to buy the products on display at the various stands.
Michelin Stars
This year’s edition will feature several showcookings led by Michelin-starred chefs from the province: Alejandra and Emanuel from ‘Restaurante Atalaya’ in Alcossebre on Saturday at 12.00 noon; Miguel Barrera from ‘Cal Paradís’ in Vall d’Alba on Saturday at 7.30 pm, and Raúl Resino from ‘Restaurante Raúl Resino’ in Benicarló on Sunday at 12.00 noon.
Friday’s program
The fair will open on Friday with product presentations of the ‘Consell Regulador de la D.O.P Carxofa de Benicarló’ at 12.00 hours and Pobillecologics at 13.00 hours. The presentations will continue in the afternoon with ‘Tomata de Penjar’ at 4.30 pm, ‘Patatas Fritas Geysel’ at 5.30 pm, ‘La Posteta’ at 6.30 pm, ‘Turrones Blasco’ from Catí at 7.30 pm and ‘Artesanos Gil’ at 8.30 pm. In addition, there will be a product tasting by ‘La Posteta’ at 18.30 hours.
Saturday’s program
On Saturday the activities will continue with the product presentation of ‘Magistratus Mermeladas’ at 11.00 hours, the showcooking of ‘Restaurante Atalaya’ at 12.00 hours and the presentation of ‘Bodegas Besalduch Valls Belmunt’ at 13.00 hours.
The presentations will continue in the afternoon: at 4.30 pm with the ‘Consell Regulador de la D.O.P Carxofa de Benicarló’, ‘Clos d’Esgarracordes’ at 5.30 pm and then ‘Salsas Gil’. The showcooking of ‘Miguel Barrera’ will be at 7.30 pm and at 8.30 pm a product presentation by ‘Pobillecologics’.
Sunday’s program
On Sunday there will be a product presentation of ‘Fruits de la Terra’ at 11.00 am, a showcooking of ‘Raúl Resino’ at 12.00 pm and two other product presentations: at 13.00 pm ‘La Posteta’ and at 14.00 pm ‘Tomata de Penjar’.
