Provincial Council promotes the VII Fira del Vi de Les Useres as a tourist attraction.

The Provincial Council of Castellón will make gastronomy a tourist attraction and revitalization of the inland villages through its brand of local products Castelló Ruta de Sabor with its promotion of the VII Fira del Vi de Les Useres.

Thus, this weekend’s program will include the traditional wine tasting of local wineries. In addition, there will also be the traditional wine tasting by experts in the sector.
In the different stands arranged for the fair, you can buy and taste a variety of products of the provincial gastronomy: artisan cheeses, sausages, ‘tombet’, olive oil, and there will be craft items, all linked to the world of wine or food.

An established brand attracting the interest of producers

Thus, it should be noted that a total of 115 companies in the province are already ambassadors of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor product brand: agencies, accommodation, gastrobars, restaurants, stores, markets, interpretation centers, tourist offices, visitable agri-food industries, visitable fish markets, tourist fishing and agricultural and livestock producers.

In addition, there are already a total of 99 producers with more than 250 products from a total of 15 different agri-food sectors.

An implementation of the brand that, in the opinion of the deputy, “is helping to generate new economic opportunities for establishments and production centers located in our towns. Gastronomic tourism is a growing trend that opens up new opportunities for the future, as we are already seeing”.
