The president of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina, has praised the gastronomic quality of the province of Castellón and thanked the recognition of L’Olla de la Plana to the gastronomic brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
“Today is a day of celebration and pride, because our gastronomic brand, which allows us to create a unique taste of our land, has been awarded a prize that recognizes the significant contribution to the promotion of gastronomy in Castellón,” said the head of the provincial institution.
The Gastronomic Society of Castellón L’Olla de la Plana has presented the gastronomic brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor with the Olla d’Or award, a recognition of the sum of many efforts, work and dedication of the companies and entities adhered to this brand to make the gastronomy of Castellón a unique experience.
The president of the Provincial Council of Castellón has been in charge of receiving this award and stressed that “Castelló Ruta de Sabor is a gourmet club that shows and enhances the gastronomic jewels of our province. Promoted by the provincial institution ten years ago, it currently brings together producers and more than 400 companies throughout the province”. “It goes beyond a simple brand, it allows to know closely and taste the excellence and quality of the best producers and the best gastronomy of our province,” he stressed.
For the president of the Provincial Government it is a great pride “to be able to receive a recognition that was previously awarded to such outstanding figures as the three Michelin stars Martín Berasategui, our Michelin stars, Raúl Resino and Miguel Barrera, among others”. “It’s a huge honor,” he added.
“These names embody excellence and commitment to gastronomic quality in our province, and sharing this award with them is a source of great pride and gratitude,” said Marta Barrachina, who expressed her gratitude to L’Olla de la Plana for this recognition that “highlights the commitment of our provincial institution to the promotion and preservation of the gastronomic culture of our province.”
