The president of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina and the vice president and deputy of Tourism, Andrés Martínez, held a meeting with representatives of the Gastronomic Society of Castellón L’Olla de la Plana headed by its president, Juan Lorenzo Sanchis.

The president of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina, has praised the culinary heritage of the province and celebrated the recognition of L’Olla de la Plana to the gastronomic brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor.

The first president of the Provincial Council and the vice president and head of Tourism, Andrés Martínez, have received the president of the Gastronomic Society of Castellón L’Olla de la Plana who has attended the meeting along with Manuel Ramos and José Iturralde. The president of the provincial institution has taken the opportunity to thank them for the work they do “every day to value the cuisine of Castellón”. “Increasingly, the tourism potential of the province is linked to the field of cuisine and food, its excellent products and, of course, the work of the best chefs who, in each of their dishes, put in value the great culinary heritage and excellence of gastronomic professionals we have in the province of Castellón,” said Marta Barrachina.

In this regard, during the meeting held at the provincial palace, the highest representative of the Provincial Council of Castellón, has shown the commitment of the Provincial Government “to value and disseminate the work of professionals in the Castellón cuisine and the excellence of the enviable gastronomy of Castellón”.

And, precisely, to recognize the trajectory of people and entities that promote the gastronomy of Castellón, is what the Gastronomic Society of Castellón L’Olla de la Plana does every year with the Olla d’Or award that this year will receive Castelló Ruta de Sabor. This was announced by the highest representative of the provincial institution, who has been very pleased by this recognition that L’Olla de la Plana will give to the brand of the Diputación de Castellón that allows to know closely and taste the excellence and quality of the best products and gastronomy of the province. “Castelló Ruta de Sabor is a firm commitment to our gastronomy and its protagonists, as well as to the potential that our province has,” stressed Marta Barrachina.

In this way, the president of the Provincial Council celebrated the distinction that Castelló Ruta de Sabor will receive and said that “this recognition is the sum of many efforts, work and dedication of the companies and entities adhered to Castelló Ruta de Sabor to make the gastronomy of the province a unique experience, transforming great products in a great cuisine that invites you to come to Castellón and to return again and again to know all our land,” he stressed.
