The Provincial Council of Castellón promotes the IV Spring Fair Castelló Ruta de Sabor to be held between Friday April 5 and Sunday April 7 in the Plaza Sète del Grao de Castellón, from 11.00 to 21.00 hours.
The president of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina, has highlighted the culinary wealth of the province with the celebration of the fourth edition of the Spring Fair Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
On April 5, 6 and 7, from 11.00 to 21.00 hours, the Plaza Sète del Grao de Castellón will host the celebration of this gastronomic event that aims to “publicize and promote part of the provincial offer of gastronomic tourism through the brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor”, has highlighted the highest representative of the institution.
In this sense, Marta Barrachina explained that, “from the Tourist Board of the Provincial Council of Castellón has designed a space open to the public so that the people of Castellón and visitors who come to know firsthand the culinary wealth of the province of Castellón, and at the same time, enjoy it, in a unique environment”.
“In our land we have high quality products and this fair is a great showcase to make them known,” said the president, who went on to say that “the gastronomic offer of Castellón is very rich, wide and varied”.
Undoubtedly, this event will become the great showcase for the products and companies that are grouped under the brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
Thus, the fair will have an exhibition area where products can be purchased, in addition, during the three days, there will be presentations and gastronomic demonstrations.
“This event is an exaltation of our gastronomy and local seasonal products,” said the vice president of the Provincial Council and deputy of Tourism, Andrés Martínez.
In this sense, the vice-president has highlighted the importance of gastronomy as “a first level tourist axis” and has shown the commitment and support of the provincial government team to the gastronomic sector and tourism.
“Events like the one we are going to celebrate not only highlight the gastronomy we have in Castellón, but also attract tourism to the province and serve to make us known as a tourist destination of quality and proximity”.
The Castelló Ruta de Sabor Spring Fair coincides with the second weekend of Easter and, in addition, with the VII edition of Escala a Castelló and will feature the participation of about a dozen companies grouped under the gastronomic brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
