José Martí inaugurates in Les Aules the first Provincial Fair ‘Castelló Ruta de Sabor’.

The president of the Provincial Council encourages the people of Castellón to come to a ‘fira’ that exhibits “high quality products made in our regions”.

The president of the Provincial Council, José Martí; the provincial deputy of Tourism, Virginia Martí, and the provincial deputy of Rural Development, Santi Pérez, have inaugurated in the Plaza de las Aulas the first Fair of the Province ‘Castelló Ruta de Sabor’, which will remain open until Sunday, May 16 to promote the products of 12 companies of the Castelló regions adhered to this brand. It is one of the events planned by the institution on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Province, which will be commemorated on Sunday, May 16 with a solemn ceremony in the auditorium of the Universitat Jaume I. José Martí has highlighted ”the quality of our products” and thanked the companies involved ”the work and effort they make to value the products of our territory”. He has also encouraged the public to attend the fair “to enjoy the good and good that is made in this land”. The deputy of Tourism, Virginia Martí, explained that “our goal is that all citizens can know, buy and enjoy the delicious products that we have in our land”. In addition, she has invited the population to ”enjoy the showcookings scheduled”. For his part, the deputy of Rural Development, Santi Perez, wanted to highlight the steps being taken by the brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor to improve the quality of their products and make them more competitive and introduce value-added parameters. The inauguration was attended by the vice president of the Provincial Council, Patricia Puerta, as well as the deputies of the government team Ruth Sanz, Ignasi Garcia and Pau Ferrando. Together with them, Eva Redondo, territorial director of the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana in Castellón, and the regional deputy Carlos Laguna. To ensure the health and safety of people, the Provincial Council applies a strict safety protocol that includes the separation of booths, temperature control and the placement of dispensaries with hydroalcoholic gel. Due to the health emergency in which we find ourselves, the tasting of food products for the public is not allowed. The participating companies are D’Armela, Fruits de la terra, Martí Roca Ecològic, Nature Tasty, Tot de Poble, Tomata de Penjar, Palancia Sabores de Vida, Olis Cuquello, Croquellanas, Bodega Mas de Rander, Belluga Gourmet and Bolissim.
