Monday, 12 November 2018 - Castelló Ruta de Sabor

The Castellón Provincial Council is promoting the quality of Castellón products at the Gastrónoma Fair until tomorrow as part of its work to increase the consumption of local products through Castelló Ruta de Sabor.

The Provincial Council of Castellón promotes until tomorrow the quality of Castellón products at the Gastrónoma Fair as part of its work to increase the consumption of local products through Castelló Ruta de Sabor. The Provincial Government exhibits in a stand with 25 producers the richness and variety of products of the provincial gastronomy.

The deputy of Rural Development, Pablo Roig, explained that “we continue working hand in hand with the provincial producers to increase the consumption of products from Castellón and that this also means better business opportunities and wealth in our towns”.

Dozens of people have approached during this day to inquire about the products of Castelló Ruta de Sabor and the brand, already well known in the sector. It should be noted that the Provincial Council is further enhancing the benefits of Gastrónoma as a great platform for promoting the brand as Castelló Ruta de Sabor is an official sponsor of the fair.

An innovative stand for Castelló Ruta de Sabor

The Castellón Provincial Council has installed for Castelló Ruta de Sabor the largest stand of the fair of 168 square meters in which products as varied as oils, wines, coffees, eggs, liquors, mineral water, artisan sauces, beers, jams, artichokes, penjar tomatoes and processed and truffled products are displayed.

Castelló Ruta de Sabor, a consolidated brand in the sector

Castelló Ruta de Sabor is already one of the most powerful gastronomic brands in Spain, which includes among its products two designations of origin, one Protected Geographical Indication and six with a Natural Park label.

After four years of experience, the brand of the Provincial Council Castelló Ruta de Sabor has managed to bring together more than 100 producers from 15 different food sectors, two designations of origin, a Protected Geographical Indication and 6 products with distinctive Natural Park. It is a brand present in stores, fairs, supermarkets and supermarkets in the province and part of the Spanish territory.

With this type of actions such as the 1st Castelló Ruta de Sabor Gastronomic Tourism Fair and now with its participation in Gastrónoma, the Provincial Council is already facing the Christmas campaign in which it will multiply the promotion of the consumption of Castelló Ruta de Sabor products, disseminating information about their quality and origin in order to help generate new economic opportunities throughout the territory.
