The president Marta Barrachina, together with the mayor Francisco Juan, inaugurates the event that, until next Sunday, May 5, brings together chefs, producers and restaurants that will extol the gastronomic product of the province.
The municipality of Alcossebre has already embarked on the gastronomic journey of the Provincial Council through the III Gastronomic Festival Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
The president of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina, along with the mayor of Alcala-Alcossebre, Francisco Juan, inaugurated this afternoon the third edition of this event that, until Sunday May 5, will bring together chefs, producers and restaurants that will extol the gastronomic product of the province.
During the inauguration of the gastronomic event, the president of the Provincial Council has valued the companies, producers and brands “that are the true protagonists of our Ruta de Sabor”. “Each one of them is a fundamental piece of this rich culinary mosaic that represents our province. Together you create a network of delicacies to celebrate and share”, highlighted Marta Barrachina.
In this sense, the provincial leader has expressed that the recipes that will be prepared and those that can be tasted during this third edition, “are not only combinations of ingredients; they are stories that have been transmitted through time, carrying with them our roots, our essence and our traditions”.
As for the products on display at the event, Marta Barrachina has praised the great work of producers, “all of them farmers, ranchers, small entrepreneurs and freelancers who are committed to our brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor”.
“Castelló Ruta de Sabor is ten years old and we could not celebrate it better than in this festival next to those who make this brand great: farmers, ranchers, producers, entrepreneurs and chefs, from the first to the last, who put their hearts and create a chain of gastronomic value that enriches and enhances the value of our province.”
Marta Barrachina has also valued the work done by the Provincial Tourism Board “which has made this event possible, bringing aromas and flavors to this Mediterranean jewel, the beach of Alcossebre”. “We celebrate the excellence of the best producers, of the best dishes, of this great province, of Ruta de Sabor”, he emphasized”.
The president of the Provincial Council also highlighted the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand and the double impact it generates. On the one hand “it positions us in the national and international brand of gastronomic quality through its products, chefs and restaurants adhering to this brand”. On the other hand, Marta Barrachina highlighted Castelló Ruta de Sabor as a generator of opportunities and economic development in the province as a whole. “It is a very important tool to fight against depopulation and that is why we will continue to promote it,” said the president of the Provincial Government.
