What to visit and what to do

  • Go slow driving and discover almost deserted enchanted villages, such as Castell de Cabres, Coratxà, Boixar or Fredes.
  • Stop off at one of the restaurants in the area and taste exquisite platters of the best charcuterie and grilled meats.
  • Stroll through the pine, holm oak and oak forests, hunting for the most prized mushrooms in the area, such as morenetes, bolets and camagrocs.
  • Go on an excursion along one of the routes offered by the Tinença Natural Park. Go to the village of El Ballestar, where you will find the park’s Interpretation Centre, and get all the information you need.
  • Stroll through the streets of La Pobla de Benifassà and discover the curious Peter’s Garden, a sculpture garden in the middle of nature.
