Itinerary

Artana – Betxí

What to visit and what to do

  • Taste the oil from the Sierra de Espadán produced in the town of Artana, known as the gateway to Espadán. This picturesque municipality is marked by agricultural tradition and has an enviable natural environment.
  • Stroll along the Artana Route of Ancient Olive Trees, a simple route that takes you no more than an hour from the municipality and allows you to discover four areas with monumental specimens.
  • Walk through the landscape of orange groves and orchards surrounding the town of Betxí, a typical Castilian village with a Renaissance castle-palace that is well worth a visit. If you visit in autumn, you can walk along its mountain routes to pick mushrooms.
