What to visit and what to do
Discover Viver’s historical and cultural heritage along the Vive Viver Route, a walk marked by the murmur of the water that flows from its numerous springs and is carried by the river Palancia.
Take part in one of the wine and olive oil activities offered by the Viver Cooperative: a lunch in the vineyards, a visit to its wine cellar/press or wine and olive oil tasting sessions with a tasting of local products.
Stroll around the town of Caudiel and let yourself be intoxicated by the aromas coming out of its artisan ovens. You cannot visit the town without tasting its cherries, which are which are highly appreciated in Alto Palancia.
Walk or cycle along the section of the Vía Verde de la Minería that leads to Jérica, an itinerary surrounded by fields of cherry trees that offer a wide range of colours throughout the year: in spring,, a white mantle covers them, and in autumn they are dyed in orange and reddish tones.
Visit the Mudejar Tower and the Municipal Museum of Jérica, the latter dedicated to the area’s oil and wine, and enjoy a gastronomic menu with typical local dishes.
Visit Gaibiel, a small town of medieval origin with much charm. From the village, you can follow several routes whose itineraries allow you to contemplate landscapes of olive, almond and carob trees.
