What to visit and what to do

  • Visit on your own the Desierto de las Palmas, an idyllic natural area overlooking the Mediterranean where you can stroll through orange groves and discover the origin of the Carmelite liqueur by visiting the Monastery.
  • Take a guided tour of the orange and mandarin groves accompanied by a local farmer, pick the fruit directly from the tree and taste the different varieties.
  • Make a stop at the Desierto de las Palmas restaurant, where you can taste its sea and mountain gastronomy with incomparable views.
  • Visit the Carmelitano distillery, where you can discover its relationship with the Carmelite religious order and, of course, taste its sweet wines and the famous Carmelitano liqueur.
  • Stroll along Benicàssim’s promenade while you discover why it is known as the Valencian Biarritz and taste the best fish and seafood of the area on one of the terraces of its numerous restaurants.
