The Molí de l’Oli Interpretation Center is located in an old oil mill from the 15th century in which a beam and quintal press from 1606 is preserved. It is a unique and exclusive piece, a wooden contraption composed of a beam of 12 meters of section and 5 tons of weight, a spindle also of wood, a quintal of 3 tons and a buttress structure to house the pressure. Today the space has been converted into a museum, and through the different rooms and exhibitions all the phases of obtaining olive oil are shown, from the drying of the olives on the terraces, the milling in the mills room, the obtaining of the oil in the press room and the storage and purification of the liquid gold in the vat room. In addition to the daily guided tours, the center also has a shop-museum where you can buy a multitude of EVOOs (millenary, single varietal, organic, seasoned with spices, etc.) and where tastings and samplings are also held.
