The Diputación de Castellón will convene another fair of products of the brand that promotes together with producers and tourism in the province, Castelló Ruta de Sabor, after the great success of the I Tourism Product Fair last weekend. With this, the Provincial Government will respond to the concern of the participating producers who have been satisfied their sales objectives and dissemination of their production in this important event that has attracted thousands of Castellón around the local products of the province. Today, just a few hours after the end of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor fair, the staff of the Provincial Council is already working on the next event to repeat the success of sales and number of visitors for the benefit of the producers of Castellón, in this case in an event more specialized in promoting and selling truffles and Christmas products.
This was announced by the deputy of Rural Development, Pablo Roig, who explained that “with this new call closer to Christmas we will motivate the products of the province are in all the tables of Castellón on the occasion of such an important dates. It is another step in our ongoing work with producers in the province to make known to the general public the quality of our products.
In that sense, Roig has insisted that “the support that has given us Martin Berasategui as great ambassador of Castelló Ruta de Sabor has been instrumental in helping us to have managed to create with this fair a great platform to publicize among the people of Castellón and throughout the national market the potential, quality and diversity of local products, as well as the wide variety of tourist experiences that are already around them in the municipalities of Castellón.Something that we will reinforce with another fair in December, because what we want is that the whole province benefits from this great platform we have created to raise awareness and increase consumption of the products of Castellón”.
Make the people of Castellón the best ambassadors of the brand
The Provincial Council will invite producers in the province to participate in another fair in December to continue increasing the consumption of local products for the Christmas season.
With this, according to Roig, “we will again take an important step in our goal of making the people of Castellón the best ambassadors of the products of our land, because we are all proud to have such a precious and varied gastronomy, as well as a multitude of gastronomic tourism experiences that can already be enjoyed in our towns”.
One of the strategic objectives of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand of the Provincial Council is to raise awareness among the people of Castellón of the quality, variety and richness of the products of their land, because as the deputy emphasizes, “often the lack of knowledge of what is closest to us is what prevents us from valuing and enjoying it, and from the Provincial Council we want everyone to be well aware of the great gastronomic and heritage riches of our province, because you can not love what you do not know”.
One more step forward for Castelló Ruta de Sabor as a consolidated brand
Thus, the Provincial Council has already incorporated 115 companies in the province as ambassadors of the product brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor in this gastrotourism bet to improve the opportunities of the people. The profiles of this tourism product network are made up of agencies, accommodation, gastrobars, restaurants, stores, markets, interpretation centers, tourist offices, visitable agri-food industries, visitable fish markets, tourist fishing and agricultural and livestock producers. “Now it is time to complete the project and move on to work on the route, the experience, to finish cohesion and give meaning to the brand,” said the deputy.
