In that sense, the Christmas Fair is part of the program designed by the Provincial Tourism Board in order to strengthen the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand by adding its presence in gastronomic fairs at provincial and national level and thus achieve that the taste of Castellón is tasted all year round. Strengthening the projection of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand is one of the four main lines of action of the 2024 budget of the Provincial Tourism Board. These accounts amount to almost 9.5 million euros and aim to position the province of Castellón as a tourist destination of excellence. In addition to Castelló Ruta de Sabor, the 2024 accounts for the Provincial Tourism Board reflect the commitment of the Provincial Council of Castellón to strengthen support for music festivals to make Castellón a Land of Festivals; give more impetus to Castellón as a cycling tourism scenario and further strengthen the province’s festivals. It also highlights the amount of 1.4 million euros to continue promoting sun and beach tourism, the province’s main tourist resource.
