The renowned chef influencer has submitted to the call of the Provincial Tourism Board for the sponsorship of actions to be carried out by a chef who accredits visibility in terms of number of followers in their social media channels, for the promotion and dissemination of the gastronomic product of the province of Castellón under the quality brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor at provincial, regional and national level.
The deadline for submitting applications has already ended and Chef Bosquet is a candidate to be ‘signed’ by the Provincial Council of Castellón to increase the projection of local gastronomy and its products.
A native of Vila-real, Roberto Bosquet, better known as Chef Bosquet, is a Spanish chef, triathlete and firefighter, famous for his activity on social networks, his YouTube channel and the publication of several cookbooks. The renowned chef was supporting the tourism product of the province of Castellón during his visit to the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) that took place last January in Madrid. It was there where he coincided with the president of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina, and the vice president and head of Tourism, Andrés Martínez, and with them he learned more about the products of the province that are part of the brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
As established in the contracting specifications, with the aim of positioning the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand in the national market along with other marketing activities to be carried out by the Provincial Tourism Board, it is considered appropriate that the chef has a minimum number of followers of 1,200,000 in all of his social networks for the campaign to have a significant visibility. A requirement that Chef Bosquet exceeds since he has more than 1.8 million followers in all his online channels.
With a tender price of 55,000 euros plus VAT, the purpose of the sponsorship contract is to promote the gastronomic offer of the province of Castellón, associated with the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand. In this sense, the chef must promote the Castelló Ruta de Sabor quality seal by explicitly mentioning the brand in his interventions, interviews or attendance at various events, as well as the inclusion of the brand’s logo on his work clothes as a chef.
It must also be present in two of the main tourist resources, national tourism fairs or gastronomic festivals of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand, as well as the broadcasting of video or stories on social networks, from its usual kitchen, and always making reference to the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand and its products and ingredients.
This sponsorship contract is part of the strategic line of the provincial government led by the president Marta Barrachina, to promote the products of the province and publicize the variety available in the province and the different culinary possibilities it offers and serve as generators of opportunities especially for the people of the interior.
Strengthening the projection of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand is one of the four main lines of action of the 2024 budget of the Provincial Tourism Board. These accounts amount to almost 9.5 million euros and aim to position the province of Castellón as a tourist destination of excellence. In addition to Castelló Ruta de Sabor, the 2024 accounts for the Provincial Tourism Board reflect the commitment of the Provincial Council of Castellón to strengthen support for music festivals to make Castellón a Land of Festivals; give more impetus to Castellón as a cycling tourism scenario and further strengthen the province’s festivals. It also highlights the amount of 1.4 million euros to continue promoting sun and beach tourism, the province’s main tourist resource.
