The second vice president and deputy of Tourism, Andrés Martínez, highlights the success of these days based on autumn cuisine, and in which 19 restaurants have prepared “great menus”.

So said the second vice president of the Diputación de Castellón and deputy of Tourism, Andrés Martínez, during the awards ceremony of the II Autumn Gastronomic Days Castelló Ruta de Sabor. The second vice president highlighted the success of these gastronomic days based on autumn cuisine, and in which 19 restaurants from various municipalities in the province, certified by the quality brand Castelló Ruta de Sabor, have prepared “great menus prepared with great care.” “The gastronomy of Castellón is a treasure that we must put in value. Our quality products, the excellence of our chefs and the culinary heritage we have make Castellón a unique tourist destination,” stressed the deputy of Tourism. He added that “from the Diputación de Castellón work to promote our traditional cuisine and attract visitors to our province so they can taste unique flavors of this land. Thus, the II Autumn Gastronomic days reflect the commitment of the provincial institution with the promotion of gastronomy and boosting the culinary sector in the province. The deputy of Tourism, Andrés Martínez, has recognized the efforts of all the restaurants that have participated in this contest and congratulated the winners. “Congratulations to the chefs and restaurants that have received recognition in this event and to all those who have participated,” said the second vice president, who has continued saying that “this award demonstrates the quality and talent of gastronomic professionals in the province of Castellón.” The first prize of the conference has been for the Restaurant Cor de Carxofa de Benicarló. The second prize went to Restaurante San Remo de Altura, while the third prize went to Restaurante l’Escudella de Vilafranca. “The effort that you have dedicated to each menu and each dish deserves this recognition after so much effort,” said Andrés Martínez. Finally, the second vice president of the Diputación de Castellón has reaffirmed the commitment of the provincial institution to continue supporting and promoting gastronomy and the culinary sector as a key driver for tourism development in Castellón at any time of year.
