The Diputación de Castellón has landed this Monday in ‘Mediterranean Gastrónoma’, the largest culinary congress in Spain, with a large representation of producers willing to make known their genre to the most coveted hands of the national gastronomy. The provincial delegation participates under the quality brand ‘Castelló Ruta de Sabor’, promoted by the corporation itself. The president of the Diputación de Castellón, José Martí, accompanied by the deputy of Tourism, Virginia Martí, today visited the convention center of Fira València to meet each and every one of the 21 stands representing the province in ‘Gastrónoma’ José Martí lha thanked those present for their continued work “to offer consumers the best quality artisan products” and the effort they show every day “to value and disseminate our gastronomic wealth beyond the Penyagolosa”. In this sense, the president is convinced that gastronomic tourism is increasingly decisive “and that’s why we can not miss the train. With first-class products we can believe that our province can compete with full guarantees of success. With this greater interest we have to promote our own brand ‘Castelló Ruta de Sabor’, to give us more visibility wherever we go”. Martí considers “very necessary” the presence of the provincial gastronomy in Fira València “because it is a showcase like few there are to show our products, their quality and variety to an infinite number of professionals in the restaurant, hotel and catering industry”.
