Altura

What to visit and what to do

  • Take part in one of the olive oil tourism activities offered by the municipality of Altura: you can visit an olive oil mill, learn about olive oil culture at the Olive Oil Museum or attend a showcooking where olive oil is the protagonist.
  • Walk through the medieval centre of Altura and stroll through the fields of olive and almond trees that surround the municipality, taking the opportunity to visit the Valldecrist Charterhouse, an old Carthusian monastery in ruins.
  • Enjoy the local gastronomy at La Farola, one of the best restaurants in the area, which has an innovative gastronomic proposal with local and seasonal products.
