Craft beers and nature

If you only have half a day to discover the area or are just passing through, we suggest this plan, which, just half an hour from Castelló de la Plana, will allow you to discover villages with a unique charm, mountain landscapes that contrast with the sea in the background, and taste the characteristic craft beer of the area.

What to visit and what to do

  • Visit the historic centre of Vilafamés, where you can stroll through the Quartijo, the oldest part of the town, and climb up to the castle to admire the views. Also, don’t forget to take home some of the best local products, which you can buy in quaint shops with a long tradition.
  • Continue the route towards Sant Joan de Moró and make a stop to visit the Ermita de Sant Miquel, surrounded by the typical Mediterranean forest, dotted with almond, olive and carob trees, where the bolo de garrofera, a particular mushroom characteristic of the area and its gastronomy, grows.
